Vrancea keeps a calendar that reads better by season than by date. In this section we publish what is happening in the Land of Vrancea: village feasts and patron saints' days, local producers' fairs, guided walks, and events in the Panciu and Cote\u0219ti vineyards.<\/p>\n

Spring<\/h2>\n

The trails in the Vrancea Mountains and in the Putna \u2013 Vrancea Nature Park open, and the smallholdings and farmsteads begin their visiting season.<\/p>\n

Summer<\/h2>\n

This is the season of village feasts and patron saints' days, when the mountain communes \u2014 Soveja, Tulnici, Vidra, C\u00e2mpuri, Vizantea-Livezi \u2014 call their people home.<\/p>\n

Autumn<\/h2>\n

The grape harvest in the Panciu and Cote\u0219ti vineyards: the busiest season of the year for the wineries and the local bistros.<\/p>\n

Winter<\/h2>\n

The holiday customs kept alive in the villages of the Vrancea depression, and the winter roads up into the mountains.<\/p>\n
